Job Title: Sales Director
Location: Olathe, KS

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales divisions, encompassing residential, commercial and industrial and business-to-business sectors. This pivotal role involves strategic sales management, financial oversight, team leadership, and collaboration with the executive team to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals. Drive market penetration and client acquisition across all divisions.
  • Financial Management: Oversee profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure profitability. Set and monitor budgets, providing accurate forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Team Development: Recruit, hire, and retain top sales talent. Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee training programs for new and existing sales representatives to enhance skills and product knowledge.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Represent Culligan Kansas City in key negotiations and industry forums. Gather client feedback to inform product development and service improvements.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales efforts with company objectives. Monitor and adapt to industry trends, ensuring strategic agility. Develop and implement processes to enhance division effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Marketing Oversight: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies. Provide input on marketing campaigns to ensure they support sales objectives. Analyze market data to identify new opportunities and refine marketing approaches.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in sales leadership, preferably in the water treatment or a related service industry. Proven experience managing large sales teams and achieving measurable results.
  •  Skills and Competencies: Strong financial acumen with expertise in P&L management. Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in CRM platforms and data-driven decision-making. Analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve in dynamic environments.
