Production/Warehouse Associate
Culligan Water Winnipeg is currently seeking an individual to work in our bottled water production facility and warehouse. As a production/warehouse associate, you will be part of a multifaceted team that operates and maintains our bottled water plant, fixes and cleans water coolers/dispensers and operates and maintains a clean warehouse environment. These tasks will be done with food safety being a top priority.
Training and company procedures and standards will be provided for all tasks and duties required.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8hr shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm with a 1hr unpaid break
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate bottling facility according to established standards (company and food safety standards)
- Work the bottled water production line for up to 7 hours per day
- Clean and repair water coolers/dispensers
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and all plant equipment
- Assisting with loading and unloading 5 ton delivery trucks
- Actively support a positive team environment that is conducive to the efficient and effective “serving” of our customers
- Take precautions to avoid accidents and ensure a safe environment for our staff and customers
Position Requirements:
***CANDIDATE MUST BE IN VERY GOOD PHYSICAL SHAPE DUE TO THE REPETITIVE LIFTING AND STANDING***
***CANDIDATE MUST BE VERY VERSATILE***
- Effective English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to lift, manipulate and handle repetitive weight of up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (hours at a time)
- Flexibility to work changing 8hr shifts between the hours of 6:30am and 6pm
- Full class 5 drivers license
Preferred Skills/Assets:
- Forklift license or experience
- Food facility experience
- Warehousing experience
- 5-ton truck driving experience
