About the Role
Intake & Planning
- Review every closed commercial deal before scheduling begins — confirm site specs, equipment requirements, and full installation scope
- Identify gaps in the sales package early and resolve them before they create delays in the field
- Assign install techs, fabrication, and service technicians to jobs based on requirements, skill sets, and capacity
- Stage equipment and materials ahead of job start — no crew shows up without what they need
- Hold authority over tech assignments and scheduling on active commercial projects
- Maintain real-time visibility on all active projects
- Flag delays, scope changes, and resource conflicts before they hit the customer
- Drive resolution when timelines slip — don't wait for someone else to notice
- Own the formal transition from installation completion to ongoing service
- Ensure the service team has complete documentation, site specs, and customer expectations before the project closes
- Keep sales informed on job status throughout the project lifecycle
- Keep service informed on customer expectations and commitments made during the sales process
- Absorb the friction between functions so reps and techs can focus on their jobs
- 3+ years of project coordination, project management, or operations coordination experience in a trade, service, industrial, or construction environment
- Demonstrated ability to direct crews and hold schedules — not just facilitate meetings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication — you can translate between a sales rep and a field technician without losing either of them
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
- Experience in water treatment, HVAC, medical equipment, or a related technical service field
- Familiarity with service management software or field service platforms
- CADD or equipment specification experience
- PMP or equivalent project management credential
