The Customer Service Representative's primary responsibilities are to answer phones and greet walk-in customers, work directly with customers to discuss orders, resolve problems, and meet related needs, and to work on special projects as necessary. To be a successful Customer Service Representative, you should be detail-oriented, organized, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Extensive problem-solving, order processing, and helping to manage customer accounts
- Answer phones, providing support and direction
- Provide proactive sales support by developing close relationships with customers
- Schedule service and delivery orders
- Coordinate schedules with the service/operations team
- Contact customers for purposes of scheduling additional services or offering maintenance plans
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
- Other responsibilities as necessary
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience preferred
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
